Partnership brings together specialist insurance, evidence-based education and Harley Academy’s new Aesthetics Referral Centre complications service.
LONDON, SEPTEMBER 2026: Hamilton Fraser has announced a new partnership with Harley Academy, one of the UK’s leading postgraduate medical aesthetics training providers for healthcare professionals.
The partnership will see Harley Academy become part of Hamilton Fraser’s Gold Partner programme, which brings together established training providers that share its commitment to raising standards and promoting safe, ethical practice across the aesthetics sector.
Harley Academy provides accredited, evidence-based training for doctors, dentists, nurses and clinical pharmacists. Its courses include an Ofqual-regulated and JCCP-approved Level 7 Diploma in Cosmetic Injectables, alongside foundation and standardised training in injectables and cosmetic dermatology.
Training combines online learning with practical, mentored experience at Harley Academy’s London and Manchester campuses. The academy also developed the Global Evidence Matrix (GEM©) injection technique guidance which provides a standardised, evidence-based framework to support the safe administration of cosmetic injectables.
Alongside its education offering, Harley Academy has launched the Aesthetics Referral Centre (ARC), a subscription-based complications service designed to give aesthetic practitioners access to a multidisciplinary clinical team when a complication occurs. The service extends Harley Academy’s expertise into complex case and complications management, supporting both practitioner and patient from referral through to discharge.
The need for accessible complications support is significant. Complications can have serious consequences for patients and can also carry substantial reputational and financial risk for practitioners:
· 83% of reported filler complications involved practitioners who weren't qualified to prescribe the dissolving agent (Source: SaveFace 2024 audit).
· In one Hamilton Fraser claim involving botulinum toxin treatment, a complication led to long-lasting health issues for the patient. £359,146 was paid in total, including legal fees associated with the claim (Source: Hamilton Fraser).

Practitioners with an active ARC subscription can submit treatment details and photographs through a member portal, after which the patient receives a booking link for assessment. Named specialists from the Harley Academy faculty assess and treat the patient, while the referring clinician is kept informed throughout. Once discharged, the patient returns to their original practitioner’s care with a full clinical summary. Subscriptions also include referral rights, a clinical governance pack and an extensive protocol library.
