While virtual events and meetings have become the norm since 2020, you still can’t beat the networking and feeling of connection you get from attending a face-to-face event.
Aesthetics is an ever-evolving market, and new events are popping up all over the place to help you further your education, connections and business both in the UK and abroad.
2024 promises to be another busy year in the events calendar with everything from niche boutique meetings focussed on emerging areas of aesthetics to large-scale exhibitions, conferences and awards.
Already this year, we’ve seen half the industry jet off to Paris for IMCAS and, closer to home, the Hamilton Fraser team has already been out on the events circuit starting with the Menopause in Aesthetics Conference in February – where Hamilton Fraser’s Founder and CEO, Eddie Hooker sat on a panel to discuss safeguarding in the intimate health space.
We will be partnering up with MIA in 2024 and will be more heavily involved in the menopause space as a business priority. So watch this space for some new events or virtual webinars popping up in the calendar on this topic.
As well as this, we recently announced our 2024 collaboration with Success in Aesthetic Business (SIAB), which aims to offer comprehensive access to industry specialists in business skills across all regions.
It is set to feature masterclasses in business skills and legislation, further enriching the learning and career development opportunities for industry professionals. Besides the live talks and the one-to-one sessions, delegates will also get access to talks post-event via online webinars.

Hamilton Fraser presents ABC is the UK’s first and largest dedicated business conference for aesthetic entrepreneurs seeking to establish an aesthetics business or take their existing venture to the next level.
The conference provides an invaluable opportunity for practitioners and clinic managers to gain 8+ hours of CPD learning at the same time as networking with some of the most influential names in the aesthetics business and networking with like-minded people.

As medical professionals, continued professional development is key, especially when it comes to demonstrating that you are keeping up to date with your skills for your appraisal. Our recent survey showed that more than half of aesthetic practitioners worked solo. For many people, this offers them a huge boost in motivation, and they go back to the clinic motivated and full of new ideas.

Running an aesthetics business is hard work, and juggling clinical practice with home life and all the other commitments we have these days means getting a chance to sit down with reps or service providers is hard. At an event, you can see all the key people in one place, giving you a chance to find out what's new and emerging in the sector in terms of treatments and technologies.
If you have a product, brand or service you have developed, then you may want to consider exhibiting at events yourself. This provides you with an opportunity to showcase your services and develop relationships with delegates and attendees, connections that would take you months to make otherwise.
Ever fancied getting up on stage and presenting yourself? Attending events is a great first step in connecting with other speakers and the people who organise the programmes. Maybe you have some fantastic case studies you want to showcase or are passionate about a particular area of practice and are getting amazing results. If speaking is a goal of yours, don’t be afraid to put yourself in front of the people who can make it happen. Presenting has other benefits, too. It’s a great accolade to add to your professional bio and can help you raise awareness of your brand and services, boosting your credibility.
