Veronica will explain the current law and guidance as it affects aesthetic treatments, giving guidance on tests applied by both HMRC and the first tier tribunals to allow VAT exempt to apply to medical procedures. David Sines will consider the DHSC plans for licensing in England and the road map associated with this journey, including timelines and implications for practitioners. David’s talk will include standards of practitioner practice, the implementation and dissemination of robust education and training standards, and encouraging a culture of excellence in practice across the industry.
