Veronica will explain the current law and guidance as it affects aesthetic treatments, giving guidance on tests applied by both HMRC and the first tier tribunals to allow VAT exempt to apply to medical procedures. She will give advice on the evidence which needs to be retained to meet those tests and the risks for businesses which do not keep appropriate evidence of medical purpose. Key takeaways: 1. David Sines will consider the DHSC plans for licensing in England and the road map associated with this journey, including timelines and implications for practitioners.
