No Excess, No Hassle
<-- Return to previous page
For the first time ever cosmetic practitioners can benefit from £0 excess. Specialist medical indemnity insurance providers, Hamilton Fraser has removed the excess for claims relating to botulinium toxin and some dermal fillers under the medical malpractice section of their policy.
This added benefit means that if practitioners experience a malpractice claim they will not incur any costs or expenses, Hamilton Fraser will take care of everything. However, an excess will still apply to any third party & products liability and personal accident claims. For more details on Hamilton Fraser’s policy terms and excesses you can download a copy of the policy wording from their website at www.hamiltonfraser.co.uk.
Eddie Hooker, Managing Director of Hamilton Fraser, says:
“This marks another step in our ongoing commitment to make things easier for our customers. From now on if a practitioner receives an allegation of malpractice, when treating with botulinum toxin or certain dermal fillers, there will be no excess to pay both in respect of any award and the costs incurred in defending them.”
The zero excess will be available to all new customers from the 1st July 2010 and existing customers will be able to take advantage of this added benefit at their natural policy renewal.
