When you need to make a claim, our aim is to make matters as easy for you as possible. We promise that any claim presented to us will be dealt with in a clear and straightforward manner.

You will find our staff friendly, helpful and ready to answer any of your questions. We don’t promise to know all the answers but where we are unsure as to how to advise you we will find out.

We’ll tell you if we think that your claim is covered and then inform your insurance company immediately. We are here to assist you at every step of the way to ensure that your claim reaches a successful conclusion.

What to do if you have a claim...
  • Once you are made aware of the complaint, advise us as soon as possible
  • We will ask you for a full statement, preferably in writing, concerning the circumstances surrounding the complaint to ensure that we fully understand your position
  • Never discuss your insurance cover with the claimant
  • Do not communicate, either verbally or in writing, with the claimant or their legal representatives without the prior agreement of ourselves or the insurers
  • Never appoint your own solicitors to act for you without our prior agreement. Doing so will invalidate your policy
  • Always keep full client notes and information relating to any treatments performed and conversations held between you and your client

Our Aesthetic & Cosmetic Professional Liability policies are underwritten on a "claims made basis". This means that we can only deal with a claim notified to us whilst your policy remains live with us (at the time of notification only) and additionally that your policy was in force at the time of the incident for the procedure that resulted in the claim.
