Eddie Hooker - Managing Director

Eddie Hooker has been involved in the insurance industry since 1985.

Having spent the early part of his career with Legal & General and progressing through the ranks from trainee to underwriter then Sales Executive, Eddie left the insurance company world to set up his own brokerage, Hamilton Fraser Insurance, in 1995.

Hamilton Fraser Insurance now employs over 90 staff out of their Hertfordshire offices.

 

Mike Glanvill - Broking Director

Since leaving college in 1986 Mike's background has always been in broking.

Whilst the first half of his career was spent with high street broking firms dealing with motor and home insurance he moved into commercial insurance when he joined Hamilton Fraser in 1997.

In 1999 Mike was made a Director of Hamilton Fraser and he became a Shareholder in 2006.

 

Ian Langley - Compliance Director

Ian Langley's first experience of Hamilton Fraser Insurance was as an external consultant employed by AXA UK.

When the Financial Services Authority (FSA) was introduced Ian was appointed as a Non Executive Director of Hamilton Fraser Insurance in February 2005, with responsibility for the firm's compliance with the FSA requirements. Ian has since now become a full Director of the board.

Ian is also currently Chairman of the Central Region Committee of the British Insurance Broker Association (BIBA).

 

David Jacobs - Finance Director

David was instrumental in the formation of Hamilton Fraser, as an inaugural Director and Shareholder.

He has been an accountant for over 30 years, and offers vast experience to the board, which has helped the company in it's expansion program.

He also heads the accounts team at Hamilton Fraser.
